Open Mat
Open Mat is a great time to train and review with fellow students before class and also serves as a great period to warm up the evening of classes.
BJJ Gi
The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gi class covers every aspect of Brazilian jiu jitsu from classical BJJ to contemporary techniques. Regardless of rank, we teach every submission in a very safe and effective manner from white belt to any very progressed belt.
No Gi
No Gi, or submission wrestling, covers any and all submissions that are sometimes traditionally illegal in the gi tournaments or gi technique. The no gi taught at Trinity is Brazilian based with every other submission not typical in traditional Brazilian style, these are to include heel hooks, slicers and compressions, knee bars, and wrist locks just to name a few.
MMA
The MMA class covers all that is done on the ground, to include strikes to set up submissions or KO’s. The stand up portion of MMA is to include basics of muay thai, wrestling, and some boxing.
